Left Ledger Rental for NetSuite
Your equipment.
Your rental billing.
Inside NetSuite.
Equipment rental does not end when the truck leaves. Keep contracts, equipment movements, condition records and recurring billing connected to the system your business already uses.
Production runs inside NetSuite. The public demo uses fictional records and does not connect to a live NetSuite account.
Built around the work
Rentals are not
one-time sales.
Equipment goes out. Dates change. Some items come back while others stay on rent. Billing continues, and someone needs to know what still needs attention.
Left Ledger Rental brings that work into NetSuite through purpose-built contracts, equipment tracking and recurring invoicing. It is designed for businesses that rent equipment alongside sales or service operations, including long-running contracts with many rental lines.
Installed and operating at Frontier Precision and Precision Laser & Instrument. These businesses operate more than 10 locations and seven locations, respectively.
The rental lifecycle
One connected process.
From setup to return.
Keep the operational record and the billing follow-up in view as each rental progresses.
01 / CONTRACT
Set up the agreement
Bring the customer, equipment, rates and billing dates together in a rental contract.
02 / EQUIPMENT
Choose what goes out
Organize rental lines and quantities. Identify serialized units where the live workflow is configured to do so.
03 / DELIVERY
Record the handoff
Track delivery and document equipment condition with line-level photos and captions.
04 / BILLING
Keep invoicing moving
Support recurring rental invoicing using configured billing intervals, line-level rates and billing dates.
05 / RETURN
Record what comes back
Follow returned equipment and capture return-condition photos alongside the rental line.
06 / REVIEW
Finish the billing review
Review remaining billing before treating the work as complete. Returned does not necessarily mean fully billed.
The billing engine
Recurring rentals.
Deliberate billing.
A contract can stay open for years. Its rental lines do not all have to start or finish together.
The production solution maintains rates and billing dates at the rental-line level. Scheduled processing supports recurring invoicing, with next-invoice information and processing logs available for follow-up.
Movement dates and billing dates are different.
When equipment is delivered or returned is not always the same as when its billing begins or ends. Keeping those dates distinct helps your team review the rental deliberately.
We review your rate structure, billing cycles, partial periods and exceptions together before agreeing on implementation scope. The public demo illustrates the workflow; it does not run the production billing engine.
Equipment accountability
Know what is out.
Follow what comes back.
The live solution supports inventory transfers between available and rented-out inventory, with return movements bringing equipment back. This connects the rental workflow to equipment location and inventory value.
Photos Out and Photos In document condition at the rental-line level. Inventory setup, reconciliation and operating procedures remain part of getting the process right.
Management visibility
See the operation.
Not just the contract.
Executive and customer views bring billing trends, equipment out, contract history and collection exposure into focus.
Use status and attention cues to decide where to look next. A flag is a reason to investigate, not proof of a missed invoice or an accounting error.
Client perspectives

A demonstration, not a connected trial.
- All starting records and dashboard figures are fictional.
- No live NetSuite account, invoices or inventory transactions are connected.
- Some actions explain the production workflow rather than executing it.
- Demo edits and selected photos stay in your browser. Do not enter confidential business information.
- Clearing browser data or resetting the demo removes local work. It is not a production backup.
Work directly with the builder
Start with your rental process.
You do not need a finished specification. Show me a contract, a billing example and where the process gets difficult.
We will discuss your equipment, inventory setup, rental terms and invoicing needs, then determine whether Left Ledger Rental is a fit. Configuration, implementation and ongoing support are scoped to the working relationship, not assumed from the demo.
I design and build the solution, and you work directly with me on the recommendations and the work behind them.
Let's talk about your rentals.
If tracking equipment or getting rental invoices out has become harder than it should be, call me. We can work out the next step together.
